Tim Vorpahl
President & Founder
President and Chief Executive Officer, Tim started Vorpahl Wing Securities with a Vision: To be the Premiere Independent Broker Dealer in the Northwest. He started his career in 1985 after achieving his BA degree in Business with an emphasis in Economics. His first position was as financial planner for Investor’s Diversified Services (IDS) a nationally recognized Financial Planning firm, owned and operated by American Express. From there he moved on to Murphey Favre-a regional Broker Dealer firm owned by Washington Mutual Bank. After almost 10 years with Murphey Favre, Tim started his own investment company, Spokane Investment Services, in 1996. He then started Vorpahl Wing Securities in 1999 and joined the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) along with other regulatory agencies.

Ron Benzel
Vice President
Vice President of Vorpahl Wing Securities, Ron brings an extensive 40 plus years of investment knowledge and experience. Ron graduated from Gonzaga University in 1975 with a BA degree in marketing and Economics. Ron started his career with Prudential-Bache Securities and moved on in 1989 to start his own broker Dealer, HART BENZEL BIERWAGEN Securities. The firm later changed its name to PARTNERS INVESTMENT NETWORK. PARTNERS (PIN) grew and earned the well-deserved reputation for a highly ethical, service oriented, and value oriented approach to managing the investment needs of a diverse clientele base. Ron has always taken pride in placing the needs and goals of his clients first and embracing a value oriented approach to achieve the desired results. Ron is married to his wife, Molly. Ron and Molly have 3 children, Jennifer, Erik and Cody and 3 wonderful grandsons.
Colin Brooks
Investment Representative
Colin Brooks was born and raised in Spokane. He is an alumni of Lewis and Clark High School, earned a BA Degree in Business Finance from the University of Idaho. Colin started his career in the finance industry in 1993 with Paine Webber. He has extensive experience as a registered representative with a variety of firms in the Spokane area. Colin joined Vorpahl Wing Securities in 2019 to further his “Client First” mentality and continued client relationships that he has maintained throughout his long career.

Gina Vorpahl
Gina was born and raised in the great farming community of St. John Washington. Being raised on the family farm taught her the values of family, hard work and the importance of a strong community. Gina started her career in the travel industry prior to raising her kids and taking care of her family. She was the volunteer coordinator for Moran Prairie School and the past president of the Parent Teacher Group for Moran Prairie’s PTG. She was also the volunteer coordinator for Chase Middle school.

Chris Lefkowski
Office Manager
The Founding Associate of Vorpahl Wing Securities, she saw and embraced the vision of a start-up company. Ms Lefkowski worked in the Washington Mutual Financial Institution from 1991 to 1996 before joining Tim Vorpahl to help start Spokane Investment Services. In 1999, she helped establish Vorpahl Wing Securities. She has worked in all aspects of the newly established company, including creating and establishing all books and records, client service, research, and bookkeeping. Now, she focuses primarily on creating client profiles, our review process, and works closely with the regulators, clients, and advisors.

Sandy Montgomery
Marketing Coordinator
Sandy is a native of Spokane, and is proud to call it her home. She is very passionate about her community, volunteering at many events that help the homeless and those in need. With over 20 years as a Graphic Designer, she also donates hours for posters, brochures, etc. With her go-to attitude and fun spirit, we are happy to have her as our Marketing Coordinator.
